The Death Note manga has become incredibly popular in Japan. Tsugumi Ohba penned the book, and Takeshi Obata provided the illustrations. Death Note is centred on a young man named Light Yagami. In it, he finds a notebook with the ominous title “Death Note.” Ryuk, the Shinigami, is the rightful owner of the note.
Users of this deathnote can eliminate anyone whose name appears on one of the pages. The plot of the show centres on Light’s attempts to utilise the Death Note to eliminate whomever he deems to be criminals and immorals.
The world he envisions is one devoid of crime. He plans to kill under the guise of “Kira.” The Japanese police will send out a special unit headed by detective L to attempt and apprehend Kira.

Brad Swaile is a Canadian voice actor who was born on December 26, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Light Yagami in “Death Note,” Rock in “The Black Lagoon,” and Nightcrawler in “X-Men: Evolution” are just a few of his more prominent performances. He gave life to characters like Mousse in Ranma 1/2 and Teen Gohan in the Ocean dub of Dragon Ball Z in the ’90s.

Shannon Chan-Kent (Voice Actor Played Misa Amane)
Canadian voice and stage actress Shannon Chan-Kent. She voiced Pinkie Pie in the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic series, Silver Spoon and Smolder in the English adaptation of Death Note, the Biskit twins and Youngmee Song on Littlest Pet Shop, and Misa Amane in the Japanese version of the series.
In the English dub of “Death Note,” Chan-Kent provided the voice of Misa Amane (2006-2007). Model-turned-Shinigami Misa was shown to have suffered severe trauma as a child (death spirit). Misa could tell a person’s true name and age just by looking at their face, but doing so would shorten her own life.
As she harboured unrequited feelings for the supernatural serial killer Kira/Light Yagami and agreed with his vigilantism, she exploited her talent to provide him with information. Kira didn’t see her as a romantic interest but rather as a resource.

Um Sang-hyun is a South Korean voice actor who began his career in 1998 when he joined the voice acting division of the Educational Broadcasting System.
Before he became a voice actor, he worked in theatres. In The Last Empress, a South Korean musical from 1997, he played a Japanese assassin and a royal servant. In the same year, he also worked as an assistant director for the South Korean musicals Gaeddong and Moskito.
Um has been a busy freelancer for more than a decade, but she is still one of the most important voice actors for EBS. He is best known for voicing Calcifer in the Korean dub of the Studio Ghibli animation Howl’s Moving Castle, L Lawliet in the Korean dub of the Japanese television animation series Death Note, Po in the Korean dub of the DreamWorks Animation film series Kung Fu Panda, and, more recently, Poli on a South Korean animated children’s television series called Robocar Poli.

South Korean voice actor Kim Youngsun has worked for the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation since 1996. He has been chosen as Elijah Wood’s official Korean dub-over voice actor. He has a wife named Bak So-ra, who is also a voice actress.
He voiced Shiro in “Fate/Stay Night,” Sasuke Uchiha in “Naruto,” Light Yagami in “Death Note,” and a host of other characters. The video game characters Calintz from “Magna Carta” and 707 from “Mystic Messenger” both had their voices provided by him.

Kim Seo-yeong (Voice Actor Played Misa Amane)
South Korean voice actress Kim Seo-yeong got her start in the industry in 1999 as an in-house voice artist for Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation. In 2002, her voice acting abilities brought her recognition in South Korea’s film and television industry.
