All Different Types Shinigami From the Realm in Death Note

There were many other Shinigami in the series that are even more stronger than Ryuk, and Ryuk was not the only one of his kind. As such, we are going to spend some time today ranking the Shinigami that appear in the Death Note series.

The gripping storyline and mind-boggling turns of Death Note made it an instant hit all around the world. Since that time, Light Yagami and L has been a topic of conversation among all anime fans. Takeshi Obata is responsible for the illustrations in this superb psychological thriller that was written by Tsugumi Ohba.

The manga eventually became a big hit, selling over 30 million copies, and going on to sell even more. In addition to that, it was awarded the Eagle Award in 2008 for being voted the best manga in the United Kingdom.

16. Shinigami King

Shinigami King, who is also called the King of Death, first showed up in the Death Note One-Shot. As the ruler of the Shinigami Realm, he had infinite stats in every way, from how much he knew to how hard he could crush something. Even though he was important, many Shinigamis didn’t like him. Midora and Ryuk also tricked him about their Death Notes. But he made them afraid, as Ryuk’s conversations with Light showed.


15. Light Yagami Shinigami

Their are several theories and resembles which fans have made that this Shinigami is Light Yagami. Having become weary with the Shinigami Realm like Ryuk did, this Shinigami displays similar sentiments to those of our hero before he left for the Human World.

At first glance, it seems like he simply anticipates more excitement in the Human World. When he leaves before Ryuk finishes telling his narrative, it suggests he has something to hide.

14. Meadra

Meadra was a Shinigami who was both strong and funny. She first showed up in the Death Note One-Shot special. She knew a lot and was interested in a lot of things, and she had a high wreck count.

C-Kira had her Death Note, and she also made an eye deal with her. She was also brave enough to bribe the Shinigami King with thirteen apples to let her drop a spare Death Note in the human world.


13. Sidoh

Sidoh was a pretty strong Shinigami, but he was not smart. So, he couldn’t use his powers well on his own, and his count was low. Ryuk took his Death Note, and when he went to the human world to get it back, he found it in the hands of Jack Neylon. He loved chocolate very much, and Jack Neylon used it to beat up different members of the Japanese Task Force.


12. Gook

Gook first showed up in the beginning of the manga, when he was seen playing cards with Deridovely. Like his friend, he liked to gamble, but he wasn’t as good at it. He was very lazy and never tried to do anything on his own. He had a good number of points, and the apples Ryuk brought from the human world were very interesting to him.


11. Ryuk

RYUK is one of the most important people in this series. He didn’t like being bored, so he dropped the Death Note in the human world. This set off a chain of events that would change the lives of millions of people. Light Yagami crushed a lot of people with his Death Note. Even though it looked like Light was controlling Ryuk, in the end it was Ryuk who turned on him after Light lost to Near.


10. Zellogi

Zellogi was a Shinigami who knew a lot and was very interested in learning new things. When he found out that Ryuk had gone to the human world, he asked him a lot of questions, mostly about people. He was interested in how a person could use the Death Note, so he tried to find out more about it. He didn’t like it when it was humid, and he sometimes played games of chance.

9. Rem

The Shinigami who hated Light Yagami the most are in the top half of this list. Misa Amane, the person she loved, ended up with her Death Note. This was also one of her biggest weaknesses, and Light Yagami used it to defeat his mortal enemy. Even though she wasn’t very strong, she did great things when she killed L and Watari to save Misa Amane. In this way, she also died, which is how the Shinigami rules say it should be.


8. Daril Ghiroza

Daril was a Shinigami who was very smart and had a lot of power. He had a very impressive count, and he took his job as a Shinigami very seriously. He spent his time in the Shinigami Realm stacking up human bones. She liked things that were made of metal and didn’t like places that were too bright. She didn’t care about the world of people unless she had to crush someone.


7. Armonia Justin Beyondormason

As we move into the top three of these lists, we find a Shinigami who is scary. Not only was Justin very smart, but he also killed an insane number of people during his life. He is a Shinigami who is very scared and has a strong love for jewellery. He was always seen wearing jewels and sitting on his throne made of skulls, which was very fancy.


6. Nu

Nu is thought to be the second strongest Shinigami in their realm, after the ruler. She looked different from the other Shinigamis, too. Her whole body was covered in eyes, making her look like a huge rock. She was a rare kind of Shinigami who knew everything there was to know about the world. Even though she isn’t in the manga, she shows up in the second opening of the anime series.


5. Gelus

In comparison to the majority of Shinigami, Gelus stands out due to his exceptional compassion for human beings. Gelus is a gentle and reserved individual who has a strong desire to assist other people. He was so smitten with a human named Misa Amane that he would do anything to protect her, including taking the life of another human.

4. Arma

Arma, much like other Shinigami, has a certain food that he truly enjoys eating, and that cuisine is grapes. Arma takes an uncommon interest in Ryuzaki, even going so far as to write a person’s name in her Death Note in order to safeguard someone who is close to him, even if it means that she must sacrifice herself in the process.


3. Deridovely

Typically, Deridovely gambles with Gook and Ryuk, though Ryuk’s infrequent involvement is hinted.

Deridovely has a humanoid body. He’s dressed all in white and wearing a bone mask. He’s dressed like the traditional grim reaper and even holds a scythe. He has full, crimson lips and long, black hair.


2. Kinddara Guivelostain

Rather than think, Kinddara Guivelostain would rather be violent. Aside from being on the cover of Death Note volume 12, she has no involvement in the plot itself. Takeshi Obata has stated that he would like to make a new Shinigami for the final volume’s cover before it is released.


1. Bepo

Bepo is a big Shinigami who is made of gold and has six fingers on each hand. In the second episode of the miniseries Death Note: New Generation, Bepo is present but not seen for the first time. He’s with Sakura Aoi while she sends Ryuzaki a message. Bepo is a Shinigami who can only be seen in the Death Note movies. He has one of the six Death Notes that were just brought to the Human World.


This list was really interesting to make because Shinigamis other than Ryuk and Rem doesn’t get enough attention. Even though this makes sense, there were other strong Shinigamis who didn’t get as much screen time.
